Sri Ganesa Mahothsavam begins on May 24, 2009

We are pleased to inform you that our Temple is all set to conduct the Annual 15-day Sri Varasiddhi Vinayakar (Sri Ganesa) Mahothsavam Festival starting with the Flag Hoisting ceremony on May 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM. The Temple Chariot Festival is on the 14th day of the festival (viz) Saturday, June 6th. The De-hoisting of the Flag is on the same day as 'Theertham' and is on June 7th. Daily Abhishekam, Yaaga Puja, Sthamba Puja, Vasantha Mantapa Puja, Procession of Sri Ganesa in various Vaahanaas to the accompaniment of Nadaswaram music, both in the mornings and evenings, are daily features of the Mahothsavam. Mark your calendar for this event and make sure you are present with your family and friends on all days and partake the blessings of Sri Ganesa.
